Welcome Address

Dear friends and colleagues,

I am proud and honoured to announce the 17th Congress of the Spanish Microsurgery Association – International Microsurgery Symposium, which will take place in Seville from the 7th to the 10th of November. We are fortunate to count with the invaluable collaboration of many colleagues from our association and many other associations abroad, contributing in this way to an international outlook in the field of microsurgical solutions to different current problems.
Organizing this congress and the international symposium, our aim is to revitalize our society, calling on the professional interest of young professionals for them to contribute value to our society.

We are also happy to hail the city of Seville, on the 4th centenary of Murillo and holding the First Anthological Exhibition of Murillo, taking place in the Fine Arts Museum of Seville, coordinated by the Culture Office of the Regional Government of Andalusia. The exhibition gathers 60 paintings lent by institutions from Spain, Germany, Austria, France, United Kingdom, Italy and Portugal. The exhibition is aimed at becoming a significant cultural event that will contribute to a better understanding of the artist. Murillo is an extremely popular artist and a reference of baroque painting.

And, finally, let me add that Seville has been chosen top destination in the Lonely Planet Top Cities Best in travel 2018 ranking.

I hope you enjoy the Congress and the City

Welcome to Seville
